Visit a 13th-century castle, pass the Glenfinnan viaduct and enjoy fabulous vistas small isles of Eigg and Rhu. But mostly, Ardnamurchan is about wildlife.

The West coast is full of secret coves and hidden beaches that need a little in-depth local knowledge to discover. Smirisary is one of these and the walk to the beach, which passes through the now mainly deserted village of Smirisary is one where new discoveries await around every corner.
