Terms and Conditions

Booking:

Booking in advance is required. please contact me by using the Book now buttons on the site or visit the Contact page on the web site . 

Confirmation:

A non refundable deposit of 25% of the agreed price is required in order to secure the booking, and the booking will only be confirmed when this has been received.

The balance will be invoiced approximately 8 weeks prior to commencement of the booking and is immediately payable.

Cancellation:

In the event of cancellation with more than fourteen days notice, 75% of the agreed total fee will be refunded/not invoiced.  

For cancellations made with less than fourteen days notice no refund will be due. 

 Bank transfer is my preferred method of payment and bank details will be included with the invoice

Cancellations must be made in writing (or by e-mail). 

Where bookings are cancelled due to a Force Majeure such as the current Covid 19 event, all monies paid will be refunded or a credit can be given, less any non recoverable expenses incurred by Wild West and a 10% fee to cover administration. 

Advertised safaris and tours:

The programme as advertised is intended as a guideline only, and is subject to seasonality and weather. Wild West may substitute activities and locations in order to maximise your chance of viewing local wildlife and therefore alternative trips to those advertised may be given. Whilst it would be an unusual day that none of the main target species were found, no guarantees are given as to what, if any species we will see on the day.

Cancellation by Wild West:

In the event of a minimum number of bookings (normally four people) for a safari not being received 2 weeks prior to start date Wild West reserve the right to cancel this. Wherever possible an alternative date or trip will be offered but if nothing suitable is available a full refund of monies paid in advance, including deposit, will be issued. Similarly, if Wild West is forced to cancel for any other reason beyond our control, a full refund will be made. Payment of this refund releases both parties from this contract and all liabilities.

What’s included:

Transport and guiding on the trip, hot drinks, use of optical equipment (scopes, binoculars), ferry fares for vehicle and driver.

Not included:

Travel insurance, lunches, entry fees to attractions, passenger ferry fares.

Liability:

Wild West accepts no responsibility where provision of services is not available for reasons beyond our control. This includes ferry services, access and adverse weather conditions. Wild West will not accept responsibility for any losses beyond the price charged for the activity. Customers are advised to ensure this is included in travel insurance provisions.

No responsibility is accepted for loss or damage of personal goods or personal injury caused by a third party beyond our control.

Special requirements:

Any special requests must be notified when booking. – these include any dietary or health requirements. Sorry dogs cannot be accommodated on Wild West trips.

Acceptance of Terms and conditions

In making a booking you have accepted Wild West terms and conditions.

If you have any cause for dissatisfaction, please let your guide know at the time so that Wild West have an opportunity to rectify matters.
